Tne Petri dish is molded from medical grade virgin polystyrene, with optically-clear top and bottom viewing surfaces. It has ventilation ribs that allow for free air circulation and reduce condensation during incubation, with a constant flatness that allows for even media distribution. The flared lid skirt and squared corners offer easy one hand operation, especially with gloves. It features a raised partition and an ISO Mark Target for orientation in automated filling and streaking equipment. This disposable, single-use Petri dish is radiation sterilized and the contents are sterile if the packaging sleeve is unopened. It is traceable by lot and sku number, and Certificate of Sterilization Processing and Certificate of Compliance are available upon request. It is ideal for general microbiological use.
